Euro Paddle Pass is a framework of paddle sport competency in all kayaking/canoeing disciplines involving 11 National Federations across Europe.

Canoe Ireland is recognised by Sport Ireland and the Olympic Federation of Ireland (OFI) as the governing body of the sport and recreation of paddle sport in Ireland. It is affiliated to the International and European Canoe Federations.
